There will be 14 Vespri d'Organo, that is Organ Vespers: 11 in the Cathedral of Pistoia, 1 in the church of Spirito Santo, Pistoia, and 2 in the church of San Michele Arcangelo, Treppio.

Two New Organs in Pistoia
(North German style and Spanish style)

1. Spirito Santo (St. Ignatius of Loyola), Pistoia.

Located opposite the world-famous Herman organ 1664, in a twin case built in the same year, but that had left empty unil now.

Built by Glauco Ghilardi, Lucca, it will be dedicated by Ludger Lohmann on Saturday December 22, 2007, at 21.00.

On January 18, 2008, at 21.15, the two opposite organs will be played together by Guy Bovet and Vivienne Loriaut.

2. Church of the Carmine, Pistoia.

Inside pipes by Tronci (from the destroyed Tronci 1842 of the church of Sant’Andrea); new façade and chest by Glauco Ghilardi 2007.

It will be dedicated on June 22, 2008, at 21.00 by Umberto Pineschi. Two other concerts will follow, given by Guy Bovet on June 25 and by Andrea Vannucchi on July 16.
